Keeping You Informed

With nearly three decades of experience in the financial industry, our Founding Principal and Managing Director Craig Robson examines the latest data and gives his take on the pulse of the economy in his Craig's Corner reports. To reference one of his recent Craig’s Corners, he explains, the factors of an economic recovery are as numerous as they are complex. The data, however, suggests we could look at this economic recovery with cautious optimism. Following better-than-expected Q2 earnings results, many large financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs recently increased its S&P 500 earnings-per-share estimate for this year. Experts there are also forecasting a 30% S&P 500 earnings pick up in 2021. This is consistent with their 2020 and 2021 US gross domestic product forecasts of 5 and 5.6% respectively.1 The Regent Peak team is committed to examining the latest economic information to help us make the best decisions for our clients. You can also follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter for more frequent articles and videos that share the work we are doing for you. Thank you for letting us serve as your trusted advisors.

Office Manager

By now, many clients have heard directly from our new office manager, either by email or phone. We are most pleased to have Amey with us, as she’s transitioned into her new role quite smoothly. Her personable demeanor makes her easy to engage and work with. Please continue to be on the lookout for emails or phone calls from her, as she’s brought into the fold of the day-to-day operations at Regent Peak!

Working From Home & Office Visits

Yes, we are continuing to work from home primarily. We wanted to remind everyone that we appreciate a heads up on requests, giving us a chance to avoid anything last minute. Of course, we know some things pop up – that’s life – but especially when it comes to requests that involve paperwork, it is key to allow an adequate amount of time while we take turns stopping by the office to check mail and process in-writing requests. In the same vein, we will also continue to conduct meetings using virtual conference technology as our primary method of meeting with you.

Back to School

Whatever your situation may be, it is likely safe to say we are all sending our children back to school in a non-traditional way. This year is ever-evolving, keeping us on our toes. Remember this spring when we as parents thought, “just wait until summer is over and we can send the kids back to school,” as if COVID would be gone by now. It seems like a lifetime ago we had those thoughts, yet here we are. We find ourselves playing various roles and teaching our kids from home, through virtual learning, or sending them back with masks. It all continues to be a lot to process, but one thing seems to be certain, the pandemic continues to change how we live our lives.
